Donate the excess in your wardrobe, swap & trade with community, and refresh your wardrobe. It's good for your closet, wallet, and the planet. All bodies & genders welcome!
This event will be held inside, upstairs in the PVD workshop studio.

NPT CRAFT CLUB ON THE LAWN
Join The Nest and the Newport Art Museum for Craft Club on the Lawn- a weekly summer gathering for makers of all kinds. Bring your knitting, sketchbook, embroidery, collage, crochet, or any creative project and spend the evening crafting in community on the museum lawn.
Led by textile lover Keelin Maloney
Every Tuesday evening starting June 2nd, from 5-6:30pm at The Newport Art Museum.
NPT COMMUNITY MENDING CIRCLE
Join The Nest and the Newport Art Museum for Community Mending Circle, a monthly gathering dedicated to repairing, refreshing, and extending the life of your favorite clothes. Bring your socks with holes, missing buttons, ripped denim, stained tees, or well-loved sweaters and learn simple hand-mending techniques in a welcoming community setting.
Led by textile lover Keelin Maloney on the third Wednesday of the month throughout the summer.
Next meeting is July 15th, 5-7pm
ROAM AROUND ROUGH POINT
The Nest is popping up at the third annual Roam Around Rough Point! Enjoy gorgeous ocean views while exploring the historic Rough Point Museum. There will be live music, food trucks & local vendors outside on the lawn. This event is BYOPS (bring your own picnic supplies).

NEWPORT MENDING SERIES PART 1: LEARN TO HAND STITCH
Over the course of two and a half hours, you and up to 7 other participants will learn the basics of hand stitching and how to sew on a button in the beautiful Solarium at the Rough Point Museum in Newport, Rhode Island!
Taught by professional mender Carlin Ash.

WIP WEDNESDAYS
A monthly event used to share your works in progress and talk to your crafting community at Dexter Park! Participants are encouraged to bring their Works in Progress (WIPs) to show off, get advice, or just work on in a group of other crafters! All handcrafts are encouraged.
Last Wednesday of the month throughout the summer
